Disappointing decision on the Site C Dam

Local community energy projects will suffer.

After an intense public review process the government has missed an opportunity to take the province into the 21st century of energy production and instead chosen to embrace a 19th century business as usual mega project.

Local renewable energy projects add capacity to the grid that are scalable, can provide improved security, skilled jobs, less destructive to the environment and continue to become more affordable.

The project is now the largest public project in BC's history. The budget has been increased to eleven figures  and may well keep rising with first nations lawsuits pending.

If you are as outraged as we are by this decision please make your views known to the Premier. Premier@gov.bc.ca
