Solar Scholarship Array at the High School Gym
Solar Scholarship Array on the Gulf Islands Secondary School. This 21kW array produces and annual scholarship from the electrical savings. Installed 2014 by SALT SPRING COMMUNITY ENERGY and School District 64

The Solar Scholarship project was created group of Citizens, Students, School District, and funding partners that came together to create the largest school solar array in BC. The annual savings on the electrical bill created an ongoing scholarship for students of Gulf Island Secondary School. The Salt Spring Community Energy Group is proud to have created a lasting legacy for Salt Spring Island, BC and it’s youth.
