Library Talk: SSCE’s David Denning and Simon Wheeler

From a perspective of hours of sunshine, Salt Spring Island doesn’t hold a candle to Arizona or Mexico, but home solar power is still an extremely important option for Islanders in the context of the Climate Crisis we face. This talk is an introduction to how solar photovoltaic systems work; what is involved in having them installed on our roofs; and how they can benefit us both personally in terms of financial savings and climate action, and as a community and society.
